UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN- OSHKOSH Testing Coordinator in OSHKOSH, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1. Continuously monitor the Accommodate System. 2. Prep for the next day by working with faculty who haven\'t uploaded tests yet. 3. Meet, in person or on Teams, with new faculty to walk them through how to use Accommodate. 4. Run daily statistical reports; keep and maintain accurate statistical records for the area 5. Prepare the test center for exam administration including, but not limited to, verification of appointments, preparation of candidate materials, computer set-up, and light cleaning of space (wipe desks, computers & peripherals, vacuum, empty trash) 6. Interact with faculty and students on testing matters while upholding the National College Testing Association (NCTA) testing standards and guidelines 7. Maintain a high degree of test and testing security through active monitoring of candidates (regularly walk-thru of test area, electronic surveillance, security screenings, etc.) 8. Troubleshoot Accommodate problems through a combination of critical thinking and problem solving, use of Accommodate resources (help desk, technical support), and campus resources (IT Help Desk) 9. Provide exceptional customer service through offering a pleasant demeanor, resolving concerns efficiently, providing accurate information, and striving to provide a positive experience for students whether in person, by phone, or through email 10. Hire and train 3-5 student employees to proctor accommodated exams. 11. Develop work schedules for student employees, conduct annual evaluations and approve student payroll. Duties when school is not in session, including summer: Main office contact for Placement Testing Schedule, proctor, and score Placement Testing Retakes. Main office contact for Correspondence Testing. Schedule, proctor and return Correspondence Testing. Create/update training for student employees. Create/update Accommodate training for faculty. With the Accommodate personnel to discuss changes needed or upgrades scheduled for the software. Back up for other areas in Testing. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Required: High school diploma Prior experience using strong communication skills (both written and orally) with a variety of individuals. Demonstrated ability using strong customer service and time management skills. Proven excellent computer skills (MS Word and Excel especially) Knowledge of and/or willingness to learn new technology. Proven history of strictly following policies and procedures Demonstrated ability to problem solve and make decisions. Demonstrated ability to think critically. Demonstrated ability being detail oriented. Preferred: Associate degree and/or relevant work experience in a testing environment Knowledge of accommodations/ADA requirements. Demonstrated ability creating and using databases. Experience creating training videos.
