This Opportunity
WSP is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Construction Management team in Orlando.
Who You Are
Job Description
Participate as a member of the Consultant Construction Engineering and Inspection (CCEI) contract team
Direct a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection project/program
Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members; develop and/or review project specific policies, methods, practices, and procedures
Review projects for conformance with Client standards
Identify and pursue future opportunities
Responsible for developing and maintaining an excellent professional relationship with those organizations to facilitate both the successful completion of current ongoing projects and the successful pursuit of follow-on assignments
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree Civil Engineering degree or similar field
Registered in the State of Florida as a Professional Engineer (or if registered in another state, the ability to obtain registration in the State of Florida within six months).
10 years of engineering/construction experience
6 years of engineering experience of Two (2) of those years involved in relevant transportation projects to Exception: Five (5) years for Complex Category 2 (CC2) and PTS bridge structures
Attend the CTQP Quality Control Manager course and pass the examination.
FDOT Advanced MOT Certification.
Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
