Siemens Energy Commercial Contract Manager in Orlando, Florida
A Snapshot of Your Day
Many of your days you will be working on inter-disciplinary teams to respond to customer contract terms. You will be analyzing contracts terms, identifying contractual risks, drafting, and negotiating agreements, and advising Siemens Energy management on risks, mitigations, and market conditions related to T&Cs.
When you are not working on commercial matters with business partners and customers, you will be working with your legal and compliance colleagues to ensure that our standards are kept current with emerging legal landscape, market conditions, and new product and solutions offerings in the Energy transition. You may also be requested to support our innovation teams on commercialization of new technologies, and to contribute to ensuring internal processes and risk evaluations remain effective and lean.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Be the trusted advisor and handlelegal matters/risks in relation to general commercial and contract law ininternational business for Siemens Energy’s Gas Services Business(including general legal aspects concerning intellectual property, productliability, procurement, administrative and general corporate law, tortsand claims).
Proactively assist and contributeto mastering business challenges by entrepreneurial thinking (balancinggovernance and business needs).
Maintain and further improve bestin class Legal department.
Advance process optimization andlean principles to gain efficiencies.
Foster an organizational cultureof ownership, empowerment, clarity, speak up and inclusion and diversity.
Collaborate closely within theglobal LC community.
Develop and provide training andeducate key partners.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalentexperience in business, engineering. J.D. preferred, but not required.
8+ years’ experience in contractmanagement or corporate legal teams in the Energy industry or relatedtechnology field. Advance degrees may be considered in lieu of years ofexperience.
Proven success of handlingcomplex contracts specific to the sale of parts, goods, software, digitalsolutions, and services for the Energy industry.
Strong negotiations skills toeffectively lead or support a negotiating team consisting of Legal,Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Proposals, and Project Implementationpersonnel.
Driven and resourceful to achievegoals independently and work well in groups.
Flexibility to adjust to changingrequirements, schedules, and priorities.
The ability to socialize ideas,make recommendations and generate team consensus to move forward.
Excellent verbal communicationand writing skills with proven track record to develop and communicateclearly and concisely with all levels of stakeholders.
Ability to travelnationally/internationally 15-20%.
Proficient in English, andSpanish is preferred.

The team of legal professionals works closely with the business partners responsible for the sale of Service solutions for Siemens Energy power generation equipment, throughout the Americas. The Service offerings range from master purchase agreements, urgent plant service requests, to complex long-term service and operation agreements.
