Snow Manufacturing Civil Engineer in OREM, Utah
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, safety standards, and environmental requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering principles, project management skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and supervise infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, water systems, and other civil works.
- Conduct site assessments, surveys, and feasibility studies to determine project scope and requirements.
- Prepare detailed drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation using CAD and other engineering software.
- Ensure projects comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and local building codes.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful completion.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform structural analysis to ensure the stability and integrity of designs.
- Monitor construction progress and address any technical or design challenges that arise.
- Conduct inspections and tests to evaluate material quality and adherence to specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure within a specified timeframe.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and engineering analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience managing projects from conception to completion is highly desirable.
