Schedule & Compensation:
Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Pacific Time)
$27.05 per hour
What You’ll Do:
As an Operating Engineer, you will focus on the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment across multiple systems. You’ll work independently and collaboratively, ensuring optimal performance in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment.
Maintain Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control Systems .
Ensure minimal disruption to client space and follow up with thorough clean-up.
Manage facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing, and inventory control .
Monitor HVAC systems , perform adjustments, and optimize performance.
Record readings and make necessary adjustments to maintain proper equipment operation.
Ensure compliance with safety policies for hazardous materials.
Evaluate and coordinate with vendors for quality maintenance work .
Oversee tool and instrument inventory and verify deliveries.
Support event setup/teardown , including electrical and A/V coordination.
Perform other duties as assigned to support facility operations.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent .
2+ years of experience in a similar role.
Operating Engineers License (SMA) or equivalent.
Universal Technician Certification for CFCs (or obtained within 90 days of employment).
Proficiency in computer applications such as Word and Excel.
Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve operational issues.
Excellent communication skills .
Availability for call-in work when needed.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of a vocational/trade program .
Experience in Central Utility Plant Operations .
Familiarity with vendor management and purchasing processes .

Pay Details: $27.05 per hour
