Springbrook IT Specialist Applications in Oneonta, New York
Salary = $26.00 - $28.00 depending on Experience and Qualifications.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Administers various cloud software systems utilized by Springbrook.
Maintains an excellent, current working knowledge of software systems.
Leverages and customizes out-of-the-box software solutions and is responsible for updates as rolled out by vendors; will review, test, document, and implement system enhancements and upgrades.
Adheres to established product, direction, and platform standards.
Act as a subject matter expert for staff, working closely with staff to ensure established workflows are followed.
Proactively and positively assists with troubleshooting of software issues for end users.
Partners with other business units to analyze and recommend solutions to complex business problems.
Provides software analysis and recommends solutions that leverage current software capabilities and recognizes software limitations.
Document software support activities thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely manner in a helpdesk database.
Independently identify, troubleshoot, document, and escalate complex problems.
Manage multiple tasks to deadlines; communicate progress at regular intervals.
Record and retain logs of all account and access related requests for audit purposes.
Responsible for ensuring data quality and consistency across platforms.
Responsible for entering and auditing data within the systems.
Works with IT staff to create appropriate training for all enhancements and upgrades. Provides training to staff when needed.
Recognize and identify potential areas where existing documentation, policies, or procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed.
Create and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external associates.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
Three to five (3-5) years of experience in an Information Technology setting preferred.
Prior experience with cloud-based applications. Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Human Resources Information System (HRIS) systems preferred.
Strong organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and think creatively with regard to solving problems.
Demonstrated ability to work as an effective member in a team environment; ability to manage time and multi-task; and a strong customer service orientation.
Possesses integrity, ethics and respect for confidentiality.
Solid verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric attitude.
Proficiency in or knowledge of using Microsoft software.
Be willing to expand their knowledge with industry concepts and technologies.
Project management experience a plus; strong attention to detail required.
Ability to work with all levels within the organization.
Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
Proven analytical and research skills with demonstrated ability to identify problems and systematically gather data, identify root causes, and address data integrity issues.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively; must possess strong organizing and prioritizing skills.
