Job Title: Trailer Mechanic
Job Description
Trailer mechanics will be responsible for a variety of tasks including carpentry, appliance installation, electrical wiring, and cosmetic repair for custom trailers and stagecoaches. This position involves creating new trailers or repairing existing ones, similar to working on an RV.
Responsibilities
Perform carpentry tasks for trailer construction and repair.
Install appliances in trailers.
Conduct electrical wiring work for trailers.
Carry out cosmetic repairs to enhance the appearance of trailers.
Build new custom trailers or repair existing ones.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 6 months experience in building or repairing RVs or custom trailers.
Proficiency in carpentry, electrical wiring, and appliance installation.
Strong mechanical skills.
Ability to perform cosmetic repairs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Well-rounded construction or mechanic skillset.
Work Environment
The work environment resembles a personal garage shop with a laid-back atmosphere, custom flags, awards, and overall cleanliness. The shop is non-climate controlled in the summer and heated in the winter. The day shift runs from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
