Summary of the General Laborer position:
- Location: Lincoln, Nebraska
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 7 or 8 AM - 5 PM
- Compensation: $15-19/hour depending on experience
- Job Type: Temporary-to-Permanent
Responsibilities of the General Laborer:
- Move furnace and air conditioner units to designated locations.
- Perform clean-up tasks such as picking up scrap, sweeping and maintaining a tidy work environment.
- Assist in the installation process by moving equipment, units and tools as required.
- Collaborate with installers and fellow laborers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Undertake various physical tasks, including lifting, bending and other manual labor duties.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions and occasionally indoors adapting to different environments.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a commitment to a secure work environment.
Requirements for the General Labor position:
- Previous experience in general labor or related field is preferred.
- Ability to handle physical tasks and lift heavy objects throughout the workday.
- Flexibility to work in varying weather conditions and adapt to changing work environments.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others as needed.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential for this role.
- Comfortable working Monday to Friday with potential for varied hours.
