Conductix-Wampfler Full Stack Web Developer in Omaha, Nebraska

Conductix is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer who is not only a coder but a problem solver. You will use your expertise in both back-end and front-end development to craft robust, user-friendly web applications that delight our customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Applications - Utilize tools and frameworks such as VueJS, Node.js, SQL Server and others to develop applications that meet the needs of our internal and external customers.

  • Troubleshooting - Troubleshoot and debug performance and functional issues, and maintain technical documentation.

  • Collaboration - Work closely with internal customers (e.g., sales, marketing, manufacturing, etc.) to determine application requirements and work through project completion.

  • Security - Develop secure applications and write code that prevents attacks, ensuring the software is free from vulnerabilities and protected against common security threats.

  • Project Planning - Assist in project planning, create prototypes, and provide feedback on functional specifications for software projects.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of development experience

  • Experience working in a team environment

  • Strong problem-solving skills, diving into the “why”, with a focus on uncovering root causes and crafting effective solutions

  • Experience with a front-end framework such as VueJS, React, Angular, etc.

  • Experience doing full stack development, including database work

  • ColdFusion/Lucee experience is a plus

Summary

This position will meet the growing demand for in-house software development. The primary responsibility is to develop applications that meet the needs of our internal and external customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include

  • Develops applications using tools including VueJS, Node, SQL Server, etc.

  • Design client-side and server-side architecture

  • Build front-end applications with appealing visual design

  • Assists in project planning.

  • Creates prototypes and provides feedback functional specifications for software projects.

  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

  • Write effective APIs

  • Test software to ensure it meets acceptance criteria

  • Creates technical methods for engineering solutions to Web-based development problems.

  • Determines new Web technologies to utilize, such as frameworks, toolkits, etc.

  • Participates in the lifecycle development of software systems using agile methodologies.

  • Designs and build proof of concept prototype solutions.

  • Recommends programming techniques that are free from logical design and technical implementation flaws.

  • Implements, tests and operates advanced software security techniques.

  • Has knowledge of attack vectors that may be used to exploit software.

  • Consults team members on secure programming practices.

  • Researches and identifies flaws.

  • Remedies development mistakes

  • Troubleshoot and debug performance and functional issues that arise.

  • Maintains technical documentation.

  • Must be comfortable working with others. This position requires that the developer work closely with internal customers to determine requirements for applications and then to work with those customers through the completion of the project. Typical "engagements" are with sales, marketing, manufacturing, and quality business analysts.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
