Guardian Life Partner Business Operations Lead in Olympia, Washington

Guardian is seeking a Partner Business Operations Lead to create and optimize experiences for our strategic partners.

You are:

A self-starter who is fueled by collaboration. You thrive in a fast-paced environment working with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders to understand the strategic value of a partnership. You can create and execute on a plan to implement these capabilities with appropriate governance and ensure these relationships are delivering the maximum amount of value to Guardian and our customers.

You will:

  • Manage the end-to-end integration of new partners working across our organization; Establish an integration plan, assign resources, monitor, and track progress towards plan. Create appropriate training and process updates.

  • Support the creation and execution of legal agreements outlining roles and responsibilities and protections; Lead monitoring efforts to ensure compliance with agreement terms and adherence to all applicable state and federal regulations.

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing partners through regular communication and engagement.

  • Track key metrics to assess the effectiveness of partnerships. Access value to Guardian and its customers.

  • Initiate monthly planning of capacity/volume received to ensure the right resources are in place at the right time to meet demand of each partnership.

  • Partner with business owner to drive road map of enhancements promoting digital solutions to increase efficiency and improved customer experience.

  • Support the roll-out of new initiatives as part of roadmap.

  • Ensure partner and internal workflows are properly documented, published, maintained, and communicated.

You have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree

  • MBA and/or relevant industry designations a plus

  • Experience/expertise working with third party partners

  • 5 years insurance experience in at least three of the following areas of focus: distribution, account management, operations, financial analysis /pricing, product / marketing, project management, vendor management

  • Knowledge of industry trends, clients, competitors, and regulations

  • An aptitude for challenging current assumptions and processes to foster innovation and improvement

  • Strong consultative, communication, and time management skills.

Location/Work Arrangement/Travel:

  • The work arrangement is "Mobile" and may be located anywhere in the U.S.

  • There is a 10-15% travel component associated with the position.

Salary Range:

$77,570.00 - $127,430.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
