Job Description
The Emerging Technology Enablement Lead is a visionary and dynamic role that empowers Solution Engineers (SEs) to effectively position and demonstrate Oracle's cutting-edge technologies. This individual serves as the resident expert on emerging trends, proactively identifying, analyzing, and disseminating knowledge. This role requires a passion for exploration, a knack for simplifying complex concepts, and the ability to translate technical possibilities into compelling customer value propositions. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with a strong understanding of technology trends, excellent communication skills, and a talent for creating engaging learning experiences. The candidate will be responsible for:
Enablement Program Strategy and Delivery: Partner with SE leaders and the broader community to understand areas of highest impact and establish a strategic plan to meet those needs. Design and execute programs that drive excellence in SE performance.
Emerging Technology Information Distillation: Transform complex technical information, new product releases, and sales messaging all related to emerging technology into actionable key takeaways for SEs that provide insights that fuel curiosity and empower the exploration of new possibilities.
Enablement Program Design and Delivery: Develop and deliver targeted enablement programs to equip SEs with the knowledge and tools needed to position and demonstrate Oracle's emerging technology solutions effectively.
Emerging Technology Monitoring and Analysis: Dive deep into emerging technologies, uncovering key trends, potential applications, and their relevance to Oracle's solutions, fueled by curiosity and a passion for exploration.
Community Building and Facilitation: Craft engaging learning journeys by delivering concise, clear, and creative sessions, active learning activities, and experiential labs that bring concepts to life. Continuously innovate to enrich the learning experience, fostering a culture of curiosity and excellence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Forge strong partnerships with product management, Revenue Enablement Services, Oracle University, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on enablement priorities and objectives. Review enablement content, provide feedback, and ensure a seamless and inspiring SE learning experience.
Competitive Analysis: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring competitive offerings and strategies, providing valuable insights.
Content Curation: Curate and share relevant and engaging content to keep the SE community informed and inspired.
Performance Analysis and Improvement: Analyze the effectiveness of enablement programs, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize training and development initiatives, driving excellence through data-driven insights.

Our Team:
The NAA Solution Services Center of Excellence (COE) Enablement team is the standard bearer for excellence across the NAA SE community.
We serve the SE Community. Our overall purpose is to enable NAA SEs to deliver on their potential – and our work will be prioritized
by the impact it has on that purpose.
We understand what it takes to be a great NAA Solution Engineer because we know and have played the role.
We proactively identify and propose ways to better serve the SE community because we know them, and they know us.
We validate SE knowledge gaps, coach them, and provide feedback – on an individual or group basis.
We identify courses that can help address knowledge and skill gaps or recommend activities and practices that support career development.
When a skills or enablement gap for SEs is identified, we are responsible for closing it. Either by creating an initiative, delegating one to another team, managing the effort, or developing content ourselves. Ultimately, we ensure that the learning and development needs of our SE community are met.
We are partners and advisors to SE leadership and ICs in identifying ways to enable the community to improve and innovate.
We are knowledgeable on learning and development best practices, how people learn, how to create meaningful experiences, how to assess skills, and a variety of content creation needs – so we can advise our partners on how we can better support them.
We partner with the broader enablement organization to ensure that SE enablement content not created by us is of the highest quality and pertinent to the SE community we serve.
We continue to uplevel our skills to maximize the value we add and set an example of a Growth mindset.
We consistently deliver high-level, standardized enablement content across pillars, industries, and roles.
We prioritize work that will have the most significant impact across NAA.
We deliver events and experiences, facilitate training, and build content for scale and ongoing innovation.
Required Qualifications:
Role Experience: Significant experience in analytics, solution engineering, emerging technology consulting or implementation, enablement or program design & execution for similarly complex topics. Typically, this correlates with 7+ years of experience in a related field, but candidates with demonstrably impactful contributions from less experience will also be considered, demonstrating a commitment to excellence.
Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of emerging technology trends and a passion for continuous learning, driven by curiosity.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong stakeholder relationships.
Initiative and Proactiveness: A self-starter with a proactive approach and a strong sense of ownership, driven by curiosity and a desire to make a difference.
Project Management Skills: Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Presentation and Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to create and deliver engaging and informative presentations to diverse audiences.
Training & Development Experience: Experience designing, developing, and delivering training programs, whether in a formal role or as a community contributor.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of enablement programs.
Desired Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Engineering, IT Management, Analytics, Design) Master's Degree is a plus.
Emerging Tech Expertise: Experience and practice with Oracle Analytics and AI offerings, along with ideas for how to scale their impact. Deep expertise in one or more specific emerging technology areas. Experience in an industry or customer role related to emerging technology is valued, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in emerging technology knowledge.
Design Thinking: Experience with Design Thinking methodologies.
Learning Tools Experience: Experience with Oracle Learning, Oracle University, RISE 360, Menti, Apex Surveys, Zoom Whiteboards, SharePoint Sites, Seismic, Consensus, and other enablement technologies
Sales Methodology Knowledge: Familiarity with sales methodologies.
Travel: Up to 10% in North America

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
