Citigroup Payments Operation Team Leader in Olsztyn, Poland
It is a great opportunity to join our team working for one of the biggest banks in the world! This position is within Payments Operations Department responsible for delivering high quality service to our corporate clients. We are doing this by offering accurate and timely management of payments flow through our internal banking systems.
Payments Operation Team Leader will be responsible for fair work distribution among team members considering their skills and potential, setting annual goals, giving regular constructive feedback and ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time. The role gives an excellent opportunity to have an influence on the way you perform your tasks, working with multiple internal stakeholders.
Your main task :
Daily motivation of team members and creating good atmosphere at work
Maintaining a high level of employee engagement throughout training and coaching
Supporting career path and development of your employees
Acting as point of contact for escalations
Ensuring compliance with guidelines and procedures as well as updating them
Setting up and performing periodically team meetings
Monitoring volume, workflows and overtime of the team, identifying and resolving workflow issues
Cooperating closely with other Team Leaders as well as Management Team
Our requirements:
Previous experience in people management or in the operational environment within the banking/financial industry will be an asset
Effective communication in both written and spoken English
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office is nice to have
Independence in problem solving
Confident, driven and result-oriented
Excellent organizational skills with ability of setting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Risk awareness
