Summary:

Contracts Lead will have primary responsibility for execution and administration of Master Service Agreements and supporting projects. Facilitate the Master Agreement lifecycle process and manage contracts portfolio. Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Credit, and Audit to ensure Master Agreement clauses remain current and reflect best position.

Reports to: Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant Business/Technical discipline

5+ years of relevant legal experience in contract negotiation

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or JD preferred

Prior experience in oil and gas Supply Chain Management preferred

Working Conditions:

  • This position operates in a professional office environment which may require prolonged periods of sitting.

  • Occasional travel within the United States

  • Routine use of computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintain appropriate contract files in accordance with document retention policy

  • Collaborate with Legal, Credit, and Audit to ensure a consistent approach in contract negotiation is maintained across the business

  • Maintain compliance with related policies and contracts processes and standards

  • Contract initiation, negotiation, and execution with end-user customers

  • Manage complex service contracts and contract portfolios

  • Prioritize and execute contract negotiations accordingly

  • Be a subject matter expert in contracting best practices

  • Develop full understanding of relevant system processes (ISN, Ariba, SAP, OpenInvoice, etc.)

  • Participate in the design of programs to ensure profit centers understand company policies, Master Agreement requirements, and system processes

  • Participate in audit processes and negotiations with end-user customers based on Master Agreement requirements

  • Build, maintain, and negotiate customer Price Books
