JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview: Perform a variety of duties to test, troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems returned from customers. Set up and operate complex test equipment in accordance with standard test procedures. Provide guidance to production personnel to resolve technical problems. Maintain records pertinent to function. Responsibilities: Determine the reason for failure of products returned from customers by performing a variety of standard tests and inspections and offer feedback to customers and organization Determine disposition of returned manufactured products and communicate credit allowances to Financial Dept Issue return authorizations for customers and create call tags for their products Repair identified returned products and place into Service stock inventory Process and complete Bruno Labor Warranty Claims through Salesforce Assist the Technical Service Team Lead with management of service bulletins Support the Technical Service Call Center Team as a resource when needed to aid in completion of troubleshooting calls Address complaints concerning product performance, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation Support other departments and service team when necessary Proficient in prioritizing and completing multiple tasks autonomously, ensuring timely completion of assigned projects ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: High school equivalent required, plus 2 years of experience in inspection/troubleshooting. Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings and use volt meter, micrometer and caliper measuring tools. Electrical and mechanical knowledge is a plus. Warehouse tool room or shipping/receiving experience a plus. Skills and Abilities: Read, analyze, and interpret a variety of information, such as technical procedures, business correspondence, and governmental regulations furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Create business-level written correspondence and verbally present information to large and small groups, both internal and external. Requires job related software skills, MS Office and the ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment. Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Regular office and manufacturing environment. The employee is required to operate pallet jack, hoist, hand and air tools. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands to finger, handle, and touch; reach above shoulders, stoop, push, pull and talk and hear. The employee is required to move around. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
