Robert Half Accounting Specialist in Oceanside, California
Description
We are looking for an Accounting Specialist in the manufacturing / construction industry in Oceanside, California. The individual will be tasked with managing and processing critical financial data, including customer credit applications and maintaining customer credit records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Journal Entries, Sage 100, Purchase Orders, and 3 Way Matching.
Responsibilities:
• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate customer credit records.
• Address and resolve customer credit inquiries promptly.
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions to collect delinquent payments.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Utilize Sage 100 for various accounting operations.
• Handle purchase orders and ensure they match with invoices.
• Conduct 3 Way Matching to ensure consistency between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
Requirements
• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations
• Knowledge of Sage 100 software
• Experience with Purchase Orders management
• Familiarity with 3 Way Matching process
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
