Join us, and let’s develop a better world together.

What You’ll be Doing

You’ll join the CTO Innovation Group in Infrastructure North America at Parsons, with a dual role supporting the Energy & Environment Sector in the Greater Toronto Region (GTR E&E Team). Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the CTO Innovation Group:

  • Tracking technology trends and conducting market scans for innovations

  • Driving the practical application of emerging technologies in our core infrastructure business

  • Facilitating the adoption and development of new technology capabilities and practices

  • Introducing and optimizing digital processes and automations to enable our project teams to deliver faster and more consistently

  • Establishing and managing relationships with technology vendors and partners

  • Fostering a culture of innovation and transformative thinking

  • Facilitating communication and collaboration between the CTO Innovation Group and the GTR E&E Team to drive innovation and efficiencies

Working with the GTR E&E Team:

  • Conducting field work (e.g., groundwater, surface water and soil sampling) using various types of equipment

  • Supporting environmental impact assessments, environmental site assessments and remediations, excess soil management, and environmental compliance projects

  • Assisting project managers and field staff with program execution to ensure work is completed safely in a timely and efficient manner

  • Providing project support including data management and analysis associated with environmental investigations

  • Collaborating with the CTO Innovation Group to apply innovative technologies and practices to environmental projects

Exciting initiatives that you may support as part of the CTO Innovation Group include:

  • Conducting artificial intelligence pilots for internal and client use cases

  • Driving the adoption of digital delivery best practices globally across Parsons

  • Coordinating innovation challenges to identify new technologies and partners

  • Researching and preparing business cases for technologies, partnerships, and products

  • Applying data analytics best practices to measure and evaluate return on investments

  • Contributing to client-facing project delivery across different technical domains

This is a flexible, hybrid role that is primarily in-field and Oakville-based. You will need to be available to work outside regular business hours and travel, including out-of-town, as required.

Who We’re Looking For

Excellent Communication Skills

You’ll be collaborating with and representing the team and Parsons to stakeholders, clients, and partners. You’ll need to work with technical and non-technical audiences including senior staff and understand how to tailor messaging to them.

Strategic and Analytical Thinking

You’ll be working with people, processes, and technology to address a wide range of strategic business challenges.

Independence and Initiative

You’ll be entrusted to work independently with your own responsibilities, from leading calls to contributing to programs, projects, and proposals. Don’t be afraid to propose your own ideas and ask questions.

Creativity and Adaptability

You’ll be working in a dynamic environment with a wide breadth of evolving responsibilities. You’ll need to adapt, organize, and manage tasks, but bring your own style of working. Be bold, think outside the box, and challenge the status quo.
