What will you do?

As Business Strategy Specialist you will provide the highest level of professional services and operational support to the Vice President and Head of Finance of the Smart Infrastructure Electrical Products (SI EP) business at Siemens Canada Ltd.

Your role will involve problem-solving, strategic thinking, and relationship management with both internal and external stakeholders. If you are a self motivated professional with an innovative mindset, adept at navigating a dynamic environment, looking to be a trusted partner to the Executive Leadership team, then we want to hear from you!

You will create and impact by:

  • Supporting in the creation of a wholistic strategy for SI EP.

  • Supporting the SI EP Canada strategy by driving initiatives in the areas of go-to-market plans, customer and employee satisfaction, executive reporting, continuous improvement, customer and channel engagements, digitalization, etc.

  • Project managing internal SI EP programs.

  • Coordinating the preparation and distribution of supporting information in advance of upcoming meetings to support business deliverables.

  • Transforming data into actionable insights and presenting it in formats such as MS PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.

  • Business Process Improvement (BPI): Continuously identifying opportunities for increasing efficiencies by suggesting process improvement; research and integrating new office technologies.

  • Managing the smooth operation of the Executive Office.

What will you need to succeed?

  • 2 years in corporate or consulting environment, preferably in a matrixed and multinational company.

  • Exceptional communication skills and experience dealing with senior level executives.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields.

  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Applications: Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sway, etc.

  • Comfortable learning and embracing innovative technology.

  • Working knowledge / savvy with social media and collaboration tools.

  • Adept at research and Analytical thinking.

  • Service and customer centric mindset; enthusiastic; good energy; positive attitude.

  • Self-starter with a demonstrated proactive approach in dealing with differing situations requiring searching for solutions, with an ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Actively interested in researching and testing new digital tools.

  • Ability to maintain and work with highly sensitive and confidential information.

  • Ability to multi-task complex deadlines under pressure and manage competing priorities.

  • Building business relationships based on trust.

  • Asset: Bilingual (English/French) verbal and written communication skills.
