Company: Riverview Industries, Inc. (RVI) Position: ES Job Coach Working Hours: Part-Time, Flexible, Weekends as needed

  • Responsible for fulfillment of mission and philosophy by demonstrating leadership abilities, promoting a positive culture, and participating in activities including, but not limited to, strategic planning and implementation.
  • Responsible for all functions of Employment Services Department including activities related to the provision of competitive employment, supported employment, or self-employment services to Individuals.
  • Understands and implements OOD, waiver, and nonwaiver processes for delivery of services.
  • Effectively and positively communicates and cooperates with stakeholders including, but not limited to, Individuals, staff, customers, and county boards.
  • Maintain positive, professional relationships with employers and community resource organizations. Assists Community Employment Manager in recommending qualified candidates for positions.
  • Assists Community Employment Manager in recommending qualified candidates for positions.
  • Attend job exploration meetings as needed and provide feedback as appropriate.
  • Oversees and maintains exceptional customer service by ensuring all work is conducted efficiently and effectively, and quality standards are met.
  • Assist in work opportunities that allow clients to experience success in performing tasks of increasing difficulty and that teach work values such as self improvement, independence, dependability, productivity and pride of workmanship
  • Attends necessary and appropriate meetings, conferences, and approved training opportunities Understands and adheres to all policies and procedures.
  • Promotes an atmosphere of professionalism at all times for self and staff, insuring a positive image for the department both internally and externally.
  • Transports individuals to and from employment related sites.
  • Assists in identifying the most qualified candidates for available jobs.
  • Builds enduring relationships and partnerships with the business community to develop employment opportunities.
  • Assist in identifying, analyzing, establishing, and adjusting work procedure/methods to improve training and production, and to meet schedules and standards.
  • Visit customer sites to promote excellent customer service and visibility to current and potential customers. Assist in all areas with the individual that may pertain to successful employment.
  • Supervise various ratios of individuals we serve.
  • Interprets job specifications, sets up jobs as instructed by the Community Employment Manager, trains clients in all phases of job tasks, and assigns jobs to client employees.
  • Performs other tasks as deemed necessary by the Employment Manager. Embody Trauma Informed Care Practices.

*SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: *

  1. High school diploma or
  2. Prefer 2 years experience in DD field, equivalent education, or combination of
  3. Deal with problems involving several variables in familiar
  4. Maintain accurate
  5. Willingness to work with and cooperate with
  6. Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in professional office procedures.
  7. Valid drivers license.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Willingness to work with others. Maintain a professional level of confidentiality.

Able to move freely about the work site or job site and have sight, hearing, smell, mental, and physical ability to perform all duties of Job Developer.

May be exposed to deviant and dysfunctional behaviors that may be potentially harmful.
