G.F. Buche Co. DBA Als Oasis, Oacoma, SD, needs 10 temporary (04/01/25 - 11/15/25) and full-time Servers. Will serve meals to patrons according to established rules or etiquette; present menu to guests; be able to suggest dinner courses, appropriate wines, and answer questions regarding food preparation; write orders and relay them to the kitchen; serve courses; observe diners to respond to any additional requests; clean tables or counters after patrons have finished dining. No education or experience requirements. Must be able to read, write and speak in proficient English. OJT provided. Tipped position with guaranteed wage of $13.16p/h (allowed tip credit applied per FLSA guidelines to meet prevailing wage. Employer will guarantee prevailing wage for hours worked when allowed tip credit does not make hourly wage equal or exceed the prevailing wage of $13.16/hr.), overtime wage rate of $19.74, overtime may be available but is not guaranteed, general schedule of 40h/w, 8am-4pm or 2pm-10pm, workdays vary Sun-Sat. At the employers sole discretion, applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage or possibly an end-of-season bonus, due to factors including experience, merit, attendance, attitude, and/or skill. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid on a bi-weekly basis. The employer will make all deductions from workers paychecks that are required by law. The employer will provide optional housing accommodations from a third-party if relocating for the position and not within reasonable transport to jobsite. If employer-arranged housing is utilized the worker will be deducted approximately $350 per month. Optional meals will be offered free of charge. If relocating for the position, the cost of transportation and subsistence to the place of employment will be reimbursed, if half of the employment period is completed. This reimbursement will be calculated by the exact cost of the transportation expenses by airplane or bus fare, as well as subsistence expenses calculated at the minimum amount of $15.88 per 24-hour period of travel and the maximum amount of $59.00 per day. Return transportation and subsistence will be provided if the employment period is completed, or if dismissed early. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees that are to the benefit of the employer. All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job will be provided to workers at no charge. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period.
