responsibilities:

The company is seeking a Senior Research Associate based at their Norwood, MA site. The individual in this role will focus on Materials Management, Shipment and Logistics (domestic and international), and Sample Management support for the Analytical Science and Technology department.

  • As part of the Analytical Science & Technology team, your primary responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Coordinating shipment and logistics for company internal, domestic and international shipments. Team member will be responsible for logistics requirements for outgoing shipments, working with finance, trade compliance, and shipping team to set up shipments and ensure all pre-requisites are met.

  • Responsible for aliquoting and inventory management of consumables, samples, reference materials for the AS&T laboratory.

  • Responsible for working with AS&T, Analytical Development, Analytical Technical Operations, and Quality Control groups on material needs and inventory.

  • Other responsibilities as needed.

qualifications:

  • Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline

  • Minimum experience required: 3+ years relevant experience in sample management, inventory management in a GLP/GMP laboratory setting. Prior experience with shipment and logistics (domestic and international) is preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under established guidelines and instructions

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment.

  • Ability to efficiently prioritize and complete multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
