We're looking for a motivated, quality-driven Exterior Porter/Food Court/ Porter to join our team at Capilano Mall to maintain the exterior areas of the mall including the parkade and complete other cleaning duties as assigned. this is a vacation coverage position with several months full time to start
Your work will include:
Sweep all entrances of debris
Change all garbage cans at entrances and around mall and sanitize lids
Remove all debris and cigarette butts off sidewalks
Seasonal power washing of mall entrances and sidewalks
Be able to operate a power washer or leaf blower
Litter pick parking lot and garden areas
Wipe down all exterior garbage cans and seating benches
Removal of snow from the mall entrances and sidewalks
Adhere to the Occupational Health & Safety Act and related legislation
Participate in educational programs and in-service trainings

Qualifications
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
A great attitude!
Driver's license
Must be able to work outside in different weather conditions
At least one (1) year experience in cleaning.
Able to communicate with supervisor, Client and general public
Must be computer literate.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Workplace Hazardous Materials.
A clear criminal background check is required for this role.
Additional Information
This is an on call position for vacation coverage etc. with full time work for the next several months minimum the ideal candidate will be trained for food court, exterior and male porter with shifts varying as needed. this person must speak and understand English clearly, must be able to communicate on the radio with multiple departments, must be able to work on their own and as a team. driver's license preferred for the exterior position
