Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
Join our team as an Assembler where you will engage in making sub-assemblies consisting of printed circuit boards with applicable components. You will also assemble completed electro-mechanical units using sub-assemblies, air tools, and miscellaneous parts. Your role will include the assembly of printed circuit boards by inserting components in a through-hole fashion, utilizing specific work instructions and various hand and air tools. Additionally, you will install sub-assemblies and miscellaneous hardware into specific unit enclosures at a final assembly level and conduct electrical function tests at both the printed circuit board and final assembly levels. Other duties may include packing and related tasks.
Hard Skills
Ability to lift up to 26lb
Minimum 4 months of production work
Experience with hand and air tools
Ability to perform electrical function tests
Soft Skills
Ability to follow detailed instructions
Ability to stand at work station for 10 hours
Work Environment
This is a very fast-paced work environment where meeting deadlines is crucial. The basic production work area involves tight quarters where eye protection and protective shoes are mandatory. No loose clothing is permitted.
