Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist for a role based in North Haven, Connecticut. This role involves managing front desk operations within a healthcare setting, ensuring efficient administrative support and patient service. The successful candidate will be adept at using medical software and handling electronic medical records.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the reception area, greeting and directing patients and visitors
• Operate EHR and EMR systems to maintain patient records
• Use Medisoft and other medical software to manage administrative tasks
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, surgeries, and medical consultations
• Prepare patient charts and graphs using Microsoft Excel
• Handle insurance matters and verify insurance coverage for patients
• Assist in clinical trial operations
• Perform patient check-in and check-out duties
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Requirements • Proficiency in using EHR SYSTEM
• Experience with Medical software
• Familiarity with Medisoft
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to create and interpret Charts and Graphs
• Knowledge of Clinical Trial Operations
• Familiarity with Insurance procedures in a medical setting
• Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records)
• Ability to efficiently handle Check-In processes at a medical facility.
