Aerotek !! Immediate Hiring - Fabricators-II / Machine Operators - $22/hr !! in North Chicago, Illinois
My client in Lake Forest, IL is looking to hire a couple of Machine Operators/ Fabricators – These are Mid Level roles, and the pay rate is $22/hr. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN TAPE MEASURE/CNC/SAW Operation !!
Job Description:
Higher level role- will operate and learn to use the CNC machines and saw machines but also assist in loading machines, measuring, drilling holes, and preparing the products
They will be doing almost carpentry style work. Lifting the sky-light components, measuring, drilling holes, and stacking the product. This role specifically will be assembling the units with framing
Performing the operations needed to handle, drill, notch, weather-strip, and package metal components and subassemblies.
Framing Fabricators work from design specifications, patterns and drawings, using a variety of tools and machines to make metal parts and/or perform some assembly within the company quality manual standards.
Read tape measure
Must haves:
Reliable transportation – not accessible by bus line
Mechanical aptitude to use tools and machinery
Ability to read a ruler
Ability to count and keep organized warehouse
Shifts:
1st Shift – 6am to 2:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Overtime is optional (Unlimited)
