Job Details:
Title: Aircraft Structural Assembler
Type: Full-time; Consultant (6+ months)
Location: North Charleston, SC (Onsite)
Schedule: Variable Shifts (Flexibility Required)
Pay Rate: $29.30 to $37 per hour
Note: Previous Aircraft Structures experience is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using both manual and automated tools.
Utilize extensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and component replacement.
Apply comprehensive understanding of aircraft structural modification and repair, including functionality assessment of non-complex electrical systems.
Operate specialized aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and shears.
Execute advanced structures work, including pull holes, match and back drilling, fastener removals, riveting, sleeve bolt drilling, and installations of systems, wires, and tubes.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modifications and repairs.
Maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and permits for assigned work.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED with 10+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate degree).
10+ years of on-aircraft heavy structural experience.
5+ years in an MRO/Repair Station/AOG/Travel MODS environment.
5+ years of experience in removing and restoring aircraft assemblies.
1+ years of experience in utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Strong communication skills, work ethic, and urgency in completing tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
2+ years of composites experience.
2+ years of Velocity and Radars experience.
Aviation school graduates preferred.

Pay Details: $29.30 to $27.00 per hour
