Eaton Corporation Shipping and Receiving Clerk (2nd Shift) in North Charleston, South Carolina
Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk (2nd Shift).
The hourly rate for this position is $21 per hour. The hours for second shift are as follows; 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm.

In this position you will process and move material throughout the facility via receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping to enable the site to process customer orders.
In this function you will:
• Retrieve appropriate styles & quantities of material from warehouse locations using appropriate picking process.
• Verify styles and quantities of materials picked. Visually inspect products, scanning and place in shipping carton or work order containers.
• Unload and stage pallets of materials in appropriate areas of Receiving and Shipping departments.
• Utilize packing slips and other documents to generate work order packets, breakdown material, sort styles, verify count and restock appropriate warehouse locations via use of computers.
• Place packing material in shipping carton to minimize potential of product damage during shipping. Place packing lists, content labels and shipping labels where appropriate.
• Resolve discrepancies. Research all possible solutions to ensure order is accurate
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of one year order picker/warehouse operations experience
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
• No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the North Charleston, SC facility. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Forklift certification
Position Success Criteria:
• Flexibility to work overtime and or weekends based on customer demand
• Ability to lift 40+ pounds without assistance
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift, push and pull continuously
