Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves shop maintenance on industrial equipment, facilities maintenance on commercial fixtures, and lawn care. The successful candidate will make repairs, troubleshoot shop equipment, and assist the production team with breakdowns and services. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 6:30am to 3pm, with occasional extended hours.
Responsibilities
Perform shop maintenance on industrial equipment
Conduct facilities maintenance on commercial fixtures and lawn care
Repair and troubleshoot shop equipment and assist the production team with breakdowns
Repair pneumatic compressors and pumps
Make basic repairs to electrical motors, lighting, and other equipment (224v-480v)
Perform mechanical repairs on mobile equipment as needed
Conduct basic CNC maintenance with training and help desk support
Maintain saws, drills, presses, and other equipment
Perform facilities maintenance on light fixtures and plumbing
Conduct basic lawn care maintenance as needed
Essential Skills
Mechanical maintenance experience (5+ years in industrial/facilities maintenance)
Experience with pneumatic and pump maintenance
Basic electrical maintenance knowledge (224v-480v)
Mechanical inclination to repair woodwork and shop equipment
Troubleshooting skills
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Knowledge of hydraulics, motors, plumbing, lighting, and HVAC
Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance
Ability to read and interpret schematics
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Advanced electrical knowledge (preferred)
Experience with CNC repair (preferred)
Woodworking knowledge or experience (preferred)
Self-starter with a positive attitude

Work Environment
Our facility is climate-controlled and well-lit, providing a comfortable wood shop environment. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 6:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with rare Saturday work. Dress code is casual, appropriate for a wood shop setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Canton, Ohio
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $33.00/hr.
