Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in North Brunswick, NJ.

Job Role and Responsibility:

Design and develop customized and scalable add-on modules for application and integrate with the bank's existing IT infrastructure. Use knowledge and understanding of system architecture, coding attributes and protocols as well as project feasibility guidelines to design and develop workflow. Document design and implementation strategies. Participate in exploring new tools and technologies and creating proof of concepts for them. Engage in meetings and consultations with the end users using knowledge and understanding of and experience with system architectures, coding attributes and protocols, project execution methodologies and implementation procedures to capture and analyze user requirements to design and develop project specifications for our project engagement. Perform system requirement studies aimed at understanding and evaluating bank's existing IT infrastructure to assess and evaluate bank's needs and requirements to design and develop enhancement and customizations to the add on modules to applications. Function as the front-end technical interface with business or operations users for software development assignments in terms of determining scope of work, development and validation of test cases, interpretation of test results in relation to acceptance criteria. Engage in change and impact analysis, conduct quality reviews and walk thru, perform unit integration and system testing and schedule releases of various processes involved in the software development life cycle. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications :

This position requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related technical field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving application development and implementation experience.

Specific skills required:

Experience with application development and implementation;

Experience of working in Banking Middle Office, Operations or other relevant functions;

An understanding of the regulatory trade and transaction reporting landscape;

Familiarity with key products covered by regulatory reporting obligations (FX, Credit, Rates, Equities, Futures & Options);

Proficiency is programming languages like Java/J2EE, Unix, Python, ReactJS, JSP/Servlets/HTML/CSS, Oracle/SQL/Cassandra database;

Proficiency in frameworks like

  • Spring(CORE, IOC, JDBC, MVC, Web flows, Web Services)

  • Hibernate ORM

  • Apache Camel

  • FIX Engine

  • LMAX

SOAP and REST Web Services, Kafka.
