Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates the Baler equipment according to Baler Operations work instruction, specifications, quality and safety standards.
Brings the tilt scrap carts from the QC Stations toward the Baler equipment. Confirms felt type with the QC Inspector via the Plant Work Order and processed scrap felt goods.
Has the responsibility for manufacturing processes such as production, and product quality.
Supports and follows SFC policies, procedures, work instructions, including the SFC Quality Management System.
Organize and clean Baler equipment area as instructed by Supervisor in a safe manner.
Performs and participates in any projects assigned by Supervision.
Train new employees.
Observe all Safety Rules and regulations and advise Supervision of any safety issues that need attention.
Perform all other duties, tasks or projects as directed by Supervision.
Other:
Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules
Must be able to work extended hours when required
All other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate:
(If a degree is required it must be from an accredited institution)
Requires a high school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 5 years manufacturing in shipping or as a machine operator experience desired, but not required.
Attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow directions and product specifications.
