ManpowerGroup General Maintenance Associate in Norfolk, Virginia
Our client, a leader in the light industrial sector, is seeking a General Maintenance Associate to join their team. As a General Maintenance Associate, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: General Maintenance Associate
Location: Norfolk, VA
Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 Hourly
What's the Job?
Utilize precision tools such as micrometers and gauges to ensure high accuracy in measurements.
Disassemble and inspect various types of pumps, producing detailed reports on findings.
Interpret installation and operations manuals and schematics accurately.
Demonstrate general mechanical and repair skills in a hands-on environment.
Engage in construction and building maintenance practices as required.
What's Needed?
At least 1 year of recent mechanical maintenance experience.
Proficiency in using measurement tools such as micrometers, gauges, and indicators.
Hands-on experience or training with centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
Basic knowledge of manual machining is a plus.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
