Primary Responsibilities:
Effectively work on portfolios of accounts by reaching out to customer contacts (B2B), Reduce DSO, Keep AR Flat, Maintain the tail balance (90+ ageing), place accounts to outside collections timely, manage bad debt reserves and write off balances accurately and timely
Reach out to customers through phone calls and emails on delinquent accounts requesting payment updates
Working internally with other departments to drive non- payment collection process - Disconnection/reconnection, termination and suspension
Run Ageing reports and export into an Excel spreadsheet, utilizing pivot tables
Analyze aging reports and articulate changes in the aging based upon 60+, 90+…. etc.
Payment Reconciliation of client accounts
Working with internal teams to resolve the dispute related to billing and contract.
Working with Account management, Billing, Cash application and accounting teams for effective collection output
Stakeholder management and effective communication across all the groups
Identify areas of improvement, present findings and feedback to manager/team regarding improvement and implement change that will increase efficiency and productivity

Required Qualifications:
MBA/M.com/B.com in Accounting, Finance or related field
5 - 7 years of experience in Finance, AR related activities
Expert level of Microsoft Excel proficiency
Open for evening shifts: 15:30 to 01:00 (late night shift 17:45 to 03:30 during closing period)
Understanding of accounting effect and manual adjustments
Preferred Qualifications:
Peoplesoft ERP experience
Oracle Financial experience
GetPaid collection tool
