EXPERIENCED MEDICAL BILLING SPECIALIST IN-OFFICE Position, not remote. Hourly rate negotiable based on experience (starts at $18+) Immediate opening for an experienced medical biller with accounts receivables and insurance denial experience. The ideal candidate will be a team player and have a working knowledge of vision, medical and surgery claims billing with a minimum of 2 years experience. Ophthalmology experience and/or surgery center billing is a plus! The opening is for immediate full-time employment and is not an entry level position. We have two locations, Niagara Falls & Amherst. Responsibilities: * Proficient in recovery, including corrected claims, submission and appeals. * Responsible to adequately manage carrier adjustments. * Ability to post revenue, balance day sheet and perform key functions for daily & monthly closing. * Follow up for outstanding accounts from insurances and patients. * Available to research and answer questions by patients, insurance companies and employees on billing issues.

Qualifications: * Medical Billing Certification or 2 years medical billing experience in a medical office with the duties mentioned above preferred, we will train the right candidate. * Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT coding * Strong insurance knowledge relating to all commercial and local plans. * Ability to work independently or collaboratively if needed. * Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
