Responsibilities
As Process Improvement Lead, job duties include:
Identify and implement operational changes to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Develop and execute cost-saving initiatives related to packaging processes, labor, efficiency, transportation, and storage.
Analyze existing systems to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend effective process modifications.
Create comprehensive plans for process improvement or new process installations, including equipment selection, process flow, time studies, and layout optimization.
Monitor, develop, and track downtime reporting and associated trends in packaging operations.
Establish and maintain operational standards for equipment and processes to ensure optimal performance.
Design plans for the efficient use of materials, machinery, and personnel to maximize productivity.
Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment; 5 years preferred.
Proven experience in a Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or other continuous improvement framework.
Demonstrated leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively lead projects and teams.
Proficient in learning and utilizing in-house software systems effectively and efficiently.
