Job Overview:

The Transplant Assistant for the Lung Transplant Program works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team and is responsible for supporting the clinical and administrative staff by assisting with patient evaluations and care. Assist the transplant coordinators in all phases of transplant: pre-transplant evaluations, transplant, and post-transplant

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 3-5 years of recent medical experience

  • Medical assistant Certification

  • High School degree required

  • Associates Degree preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office components (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point)

Preferred:

Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable):

Essential Functions:

  • Chart preparation for Patient Selection Committee (recipient, waitlist) and operational meetings. Scanning documents into the different medical records and transplant database
