Your Team & Role
This DevOps Solutions Engineer role will bridge the gap between developer needs and our centralized DevOps platform. They will work closely with development teams to understand their challenges, propose technical solutions, and assist with implementations. In addition, this role will identify feature gaps with our DevOps platform and drive our product teams for enhancements. The candidate will need a combination of technical knowledge, problem solving skills, and a customer delivery mindset. They will represent the voice of the customer for our platform.
The Skills & Expertise You Bring
3 to 5+ years of proven experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering
Ability to speak to software development best practices and industry trends
Strong understanding of source control and git - branching schemes, merge types, conflict resolutions
Experience in developing workflow in CI/CD orchestration tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Familiarity with various DevOps domains:
Software development processes (Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, Shell, .NET, C++, IaC, CasC)
Issue tracking and versioning (Jira)
Package managers (pip, npm, NuGet)
Build tools (Gradle, Maven, Docker, MSBuild, make)
Artifact repositories (Artifactory, ECR, Nexus)
Deployment tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Spinnaker)
Infrastructure and deployment targets (cloud, datacenters, containers, SaaS, PaaS)
Strong verbal communication skills to address both the development community and business leaders
Strong documentation skills to publish user guides, defects, feature requests, and architecture designs
History of collaboration to develop roles/responsibilities maps and process workflows
Excellent initiative, curiosity, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Ability to perform within a scrum team as well as working independently
Desirable Requirements
Experience in application development (Python, Java, Groovy, JavaScript, Go)
Experience in UX/UI or front-end web design
Experience in reporting and Business Intelligence tools
Experience in API development and microservice architecture
Familiarity with application security domains (static code analysis, SAST, DAST, SCA, xSPM)
Financial services and insurance industry experience
Bachelors degree

The salary range for this role is from $105,100.00 to $156,500.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
