Your Team
As a Director, Tech Lead for Corporate Technology (CT), you will work with product owners to lead the critical technology strategy for the financial accounting and reporting area. Specifically, you will lead a team of engineers, while contributing with a hands-on approach to deliver business solutions. You will partner with business teams, other tech leads in CT, and bring technology innovation to the reporting and accounting area.
Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day
Build, manage, and support Prudentials Accounting, Reporting and corresponding tools.
Partner with your product owner to establish key technical delivery plans, in alignment with a strategic roadmap.
Provide technical expertise as it relates to the application under your management.
Manage a team of engineers to build and manage a robust solution, and contribute hands-on in the development, testing, and operations of the systems.
Provide guidance in reducing tech debt by eliminating redundancies and bringing consistency across your portfolio.
The Skills & Expertise You Bring
Significant experience in Essbase, Oracle BI, Power BI, and Tableau.
Technical experience in
Application Development and Automation
Oracle, SQL server and Redshift
Python, NodeJS, Angular, ReactJs, etc.
Autosys, ETL, APIs etc.
Design apps on cloud using EKS, ECS etc.
DevOps and CI/CD
Production operations and incident response for a global high-volume platform
Understanding of GAAP and STAT accounting and Reporting systems.
Deep cloud & infrastructure management knowledge & experience
Work with business partners and influence them with strategic solutions.
Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges.
Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills; enjoy learning new skills.
Effective Communication: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Decision-Making & Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of concept and principles of agile methodology; ability to apply appropriate agile approaches in the processes of software development and delivery.

The salary range for this role is from $173,500.00 to $234,700.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
