Job Overview:

The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily administrative operations of the residency/fellowship training program, ensuring compliance with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) standards and institutional policies. The administrative coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for residents, faculty, and external institutions, facilitating communication and ensuring the program runs smoothly.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in medical education, or related field.

  • Knowledge of ACGME accreditation policies and GME regulations.

  • Certification as a Training Administrator for Graduate Medical Education (C-TAGME) (preferred)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Residency Management Software

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Shift- 7:30am- 3:30pm

  • Monday- Friday

  • Full Time/Day

Essential Functions:

  • Knowledge of ACGME requirements and residency program operations

  • Oversee the daily operations of the residency program and medical students.

  • Ensure compliance with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education - ACGME or other regulatory bodies.

  • Maintain accurate program records, evaluations, and documentation.

  • Assist residents with scheduling, credentialing, and licensure requirements.

  • Coordinate resident departmental orientation, educational activities, and evaluations.

  • Serve as a point of contact for resident inquiries and concerns.

  • Assist Program Director with administrative tasks and reporting.

  • Organize meetings, maintain minutes, and distribute communications.

  • Manage faculty schedules and ensure timely submission of evaluations.

  • Coordinate recruitment efforts, including interviews and application processing.

  • Assist with onboarding new residents, ensuring completion of necessary paperwork and training.

  • Ensure adherence to program policies and accreditation standards.

  • Prepare and submit reports for ACGME or other accrediting organizations.

  • Assist with program evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Experience in medical education or administrative support
