Sodexo is seeking a well rounded operations enthusiast to join the team as a Patient Services Manager 1 at Christiana Hospital located in Newark, DE. Christiana Hospital is a 1039 bed, 1.3-million-square-foot, modern facility, providing a level of care only available in large-scale teaching hospitals. Christiana Hospital includes Delaware’s only Level I trauma center.
The Patient Services Manager 1 will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the patient meal program to ensure compliance and improve the patient experience. We are looking for a charismatic and organized individual to support a team of 30-50 frontline associates.
Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday (rotating weekends)

The successful candidates will:
evaluate and develop service levels for the overall Patient Services Program targeted to exceed patient and customer satisfaction;
oversee Sodexo’s Patient Dining Program and daily meal rounding inclusive of service recovery;
collaborate with clinical, food service and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the patient experience;
perform tray assessments to ensure food quality and presentation and tray accuracy;
exceed Sodexo standards for Gold Checks and achieve successful regulatory inspections and audits; and/or
perform management functions that include direct supervision of hourly associates including employee development.
