Citigroup Vice President, Cobrand Product Management, Existing Customer Marketing & Events in New York, New York

The American Airlines AAdvantage Co-Brand Product team sits within the U.S. Branded Cards North America business unit. With 35+ years of history, the Citi/AAdvantage cobranded credit program is one of industry’s largest travel loyalty credit card programs. The Citi Product Management team collaborates with American Airlines to design and market a suite of consumer and small business credit cards that use the airline’s loyalty program currency, travel assets, and marketing channels. The team is responsible for defining the strategy for most aspects of the card program, including product value propositions, loyalty marketing, above-the-line advertising, new account acquisition marketing, P&L management, and customer experience.

The Existing Customer Marketing & Events team delivers a comprehensive engagement strategy for the Citi/AAdvantage portfolio’s Consumer and Small Business products. It ensures the profitability of the portfolio by developing and implementing strategies that create an effective customer lifecycle journey from Early Engagement to Retention by driving spend & ANR, improving Cardmember engagement, and creating efficiencies across assets and channels.

Key responsibilities

The VP, Product Management, Existing Customer Marketing & Events role will be responsible for:

  • Working with internal and external partners to develop and deploy Cardmember communications across a variety of Cardmember marketing programs and channels

  • Liaising directly with the cobrand partner on the development of cross-organizational marketing strategies and opportunities for further collaboration or efficiencies

  • Managing an inventory of Cardmember assets to identify gaps and opportunities within the marketing curriculum

  • Maintaining and providing analysis of Marketing KPIs across assigned programs and channels

  • Informing future Cardmember marketing strategies, including the development and implementation of enhancement roadmaps

  • Providing marketing support for major portfolio initiatives by leading the project management and execution of asset development and deployment for assigned programs and channels

  • Executing Cardmember and internal events, such as Live Nation activations, portfolio sponsorships, and team events

  • Maintaining all proper controls & risk procedures and documentation

Candidate Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant product management or marketing experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess marketing KPI reporting

  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

  • Strong project management skills and experience prioritizing workloads to drive results with a sense of urgency

  • Experience building relationships and working with both internal & external partners, as well as strong influencing skills

  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn and grow professionally

  • A customer-focused mindset

  • Bachelor’s degree required

$129,840.00 - $194,760.00
