Google Strategic Partner Development Lead, Channel Partnerships, Project Starline in New York, New York

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.

  • 3 years of experience in enterprise IT and video.

  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.

  • Experience in enterprise video sales.

  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.

  • Ability to manage long-term partner relationships, deliver channel sales outcomes, balance multiple high-priority partnerships and priorities simultaneously, drive high impact work with minimal supervision, operate with an entrepreneurial, open-minded, collaborative, and committed approach to building a new business at scale.

  • Excellent strategic acumen, business analytics, and communication skills with attention to detail, and the ability to manage change and a rapidly changing business environment.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

Project Starline combines advances in hardware and software to enable friends, families, and co-workers to feel together even when apart. This role sits within the Global Partnerships organization. As part of the Project Starline team, you will develop and manage some of our key channel partner relationships working with our OEM and platform partners. You will be responsible for ensuring partners are enabled and trained through our cross-functional and partner resources, manage long-term relationships, and drive pipeline execution with each of the channel partners as Starline grows its enterprise client base.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Work closely with our original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and platform partners to develop and implement the appropriate tiered channel partner program both globally and across specific target markets.

  • Working with our OEM and platform partners, ensure our AV channel partners are enabled to sell and implement Starline, including playbooks, best practices, business materials, technical training, co-marketing, pipeline sharing, agreement registration, channel incentives, and more.

  • Develop long-term relationships with both executive leaders and operational teams at our key channel partners. Evolve and adapt the partnerships over time. Coordinate channel partner co-selling with Google, OEM, and platform partner direct sales teams.

  • Drive pipeline management and tightly manage the book of business with each channel partner.

  • Develop additional channel programs and channel partnerships as our Starline product portfolio expands to additional form factors and use cases.
