Yahoo Holdings Inc. seeks Sr Data Engineer in New York, NY.Job Duties: Work with the Manager, Intelligent Automation Engineering, as well as all teams within the Controller’s organization, to understand functional and technical design for any process identified as a potential for automation. Develop and configure automation processes to meet the requirements defined by the business. Ensure process improvement projects are completed accurately and timely to the user’s specifications. Ensure relevant documentation is completed on process workflows and within the requirements and standards of the automation governance and controls. Provide management with tracking tools for all automation projects including hours saved and other operational/financial metrics that will prove the success of the transformation team. Take initiative to apply expertise through innovation in support of the organizational vision that addresses critical business issues and focuses on developing long-term solutions. Evaluate, recommend and implement system automation tools. Minimum Requirements: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field and completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis or one year of experience involving the following special skills:Special Skills:1.Visual Basic for Applications, XML, and SQL;2.Visual Studio, DLLs and APIs to interact with multiple systems;3.Finding, understanding, and developing automated solutions for business users across multiple functions; and4.JavaScript, JSON, and C#.Telecommute role, may work remotely from anywhere in the US.Salary: $124,000.00 - $251,250.00 per year.Submit resume, specifying Req.# L23-142764 by email to: abby.jones@yahooinc.com.
