Lead projects to optimize and maintain firm’s business applications by collaborating with application teams to migrate to cloud technologies such as AWS and Nomura Private Cloud, and assist and support IT transformation programs for applications and services looking to migrate into cloud environment. Manage client escalations and provide resolutions for issues escalated to cloud operations. Guide and lead troubleshooting of performance issues on Linux and Optimization. Create documentation and runbooks for various processes for Cloud and virtual platform. Guide global cloud operations team and provide recommendations on applying virtualization technology. Lead application of ITIL best practices and ensure junior engineers adhere to change management policies and procedures. Maintain and support domain authentication systems including LDAP, SSO, and SSL Cert. Lead investigations and root cause analyses for major incidents. Build and configure metrics tracing and logging system. Supervise implementation of automated workflows using SRE best practices and troubleshooting of performance and latency issues efficiently. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Computer or Electronics), plus 5 years of progressive post-Bachelor’s experience in the position offered or as a Systems Analyst or Manager Consulting Expert.**All required experience must have included: implementing container platform with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps CI/CD pipelines in both on-prem Rancher and public cloud environments (AWS/Azure); performing DevOps automating system tasks and infra automation using Terraforms and Ansible; setting up Gitlab CI/CD pipelines for container registry management and cluster deployments; setting up security tools and best practices (CIS benchmarking, OS hardening, vulnerability scanning, system auditing); working on infrastructure in OS, Networking, Cloud, virtualization, storage, datacenter management; building, deploying, and integrating infrastructure and applications using Hashicorp Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible; and performing and automating administrative and operational tasks based on requests or issues identified by the operations team and the user base using Rundeck/Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York City office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.#LI-DNI
