Wells Fargo Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant in NEW YORK, New York

Business Execution Team

The Business Execution team is focused on ensuring successful transformation of businesses' end to end client onboarding activities. The deployment of new technology and capabilities can enable significant experience improvements for our internal users and clients, but the benefits will only be realized through thoughtful planning and effective business execution in partnership with our Business and Operations stakeholders. This team is charged with leading efforts with our key stakeholders to identify and solve for the critical needs that will serve Wells Fargo's long-term goal of simplifying and improving the client onboarding experience.

This role is seeking a leader who excels at:

  • independently engaging and effectively influencing partners, including senior leaders, and building strong, mutually collaborative relationships in the process

  • matrix-style management of SMEs and other contributors to projects and initiatives

  • being a data-driven, execution-oriented, strategic problem solver who can develop, manage, and execute project plans aligned with target outcomes

  • applying strong process-thinking skills to understand connectivity and gaps across process, people, and technology

In this role, you will

  • Perform as a Business Execution Engagement Manager, to develop and lead teams (via matrix-style management) focused on initiatives that expand the scope and benefits of the Enterprise Onboarding Transformation Program

  • Define specific and measurable targets for desired outcomes, foster a culture of accountability, and drive cross-functional project teams to achieve stated goals

  • Identify opportunities and strategies to improve onboarding core products within corporate functions, for process improvement and risk control development over the long-term in order to reduce time to onboard

  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders including senior leaders across Wells Fargo business, technology, and operations areas

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications

  • Someone who is an execution based-consultant

  • Demonstrated ability to operate and thrive in an agile working environment, and to transition existing non-agile teams to an agile and autonomous way of working

  • 3+ years of management consulting experience with one of the following firms: McKinsey, PWC, EY, Deloitte, Accenture, or equivalent firm

  • +3 years of visioning and roadmap development

  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders

  • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change

  • Ability to turn preliminary or ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined plans and solutions

  • Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

  • Experience managing complex projects in a large enterprise environment

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Project) skills

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to generate, review, edit, and distribute executive level reports

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Must be able to comprehend, analyze and interpret documents with the ability to note critical takeaways

  • Proven ability to understand the needs and interests of different target audiences

  • Works independently while keeping management informed

  • $120,400 - 287,600 USD
