Meta Risk Intelligence, Lead Analyst in New York, New York

Summary:

Meta is seeking a highly motivated team player to serve as a Risk Intelligence, Lead Analyst for the Security & Integrity risk team at Meta. This position will play a key role in understanding and quantifying risk across the financial, legal, regulatory and strategic spectrum, as well as developing risk management and mitigation strategies. This full-time position will be based in one of the job location offices and is an opportunity to join an innovative and fast-growing team to work on novel issues.

Required Skills:

Risk Intelligence, Lead Analyst Responsibilities:

  1. Advise GRC leadership and other company leaders on the impact of the risk signals ingested by the system.

  2. Work with the rest of GRC, Policy, and Legal to analyze external risk signals and incorporate internal risk signals in the advice to leaders.

  3. Develop, document, and operate a risk intelligence program, complementary to Meta Integrity, Information Security, and Integrated Risk Management, that accounts for risk quantification, standards (e.g., NIST CSF) based capability maturity and effectiveness and measurement and monitoring of controls effectiveness and broader risk signals.

  4. Support reporting with intelligence and insights into, and evidence of, emerging ISSO risks.

  5. Design, establishment, and tracking of KPIs and KRIs against risk appetite statements.

  6. Provide consideration, and guidance on regulatory matters and mitigate against uncertainty.

  7. Ensure adherence to defined standards in order for Meta to maintain legal and regulatory compliance.

  8. Identify risk domain specific risks and determine safeguards to reduce an incident’s probability of occurrence and impact.

  9. Establish a system of indicators for Meta to evaluate overall current risk at a glance for executive review and decision making.

  10. Facilitating effective risk domain management and evaluating Meta risk domain governance controls for Meta infrastructure that Meta relies on.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree with knowledge on finance/accounting or information systems and 6+ years of experience in Professional Services.

  2. 13+ years experience performing risk assessments, investigating issues, and developing practical solutions.

  3. Experience in analyzing, assessing risk and drawing insights from available data sources (financial, operational and qualitative) and collaborating to drive issue resolution in partnership with key stakeholders.

  4. Knowledge of SQL, Tableau or other BI tools, and Business Intelligence Analytics.

  1. Experience in designing and managing risk intelligence functions, risk and control self-assessments, defining and tracking KPIs, risk quantification framework, exceptions process, as well as independent control testing, and standards compliance.

  2. Applicable U.S. national intelligence and national security experience.

  3. An Advanced Degree in technical or business discipline preferred.

  4. Experience working globally and cross-functionally.

  5. Experience managing multiple projects at a time.

  6. Experience working independently as well as in a team.

Public Compensation:

$173,000/year to $247,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
