This role will manage critical distribution partnerships with traditional and device distributors and assist in the development of partner strategies to drive acquisition, engagement, and retention of Peacock subscribers. The Manager will also oversee the day-to-day partnership needs across the DTC portfolio, including opportunities with Fandango at Home, Universal+ and FAST partnerships. The Manager will work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Content Distribution teams to help inform key terms in our agreements and follow-through to execution on contractual obligations. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert on their partners and build strategies and deliverables that contribute to the organization’s OKRs (objectives and key results).
Responsibilities
Support Sr. Director and VP in management of business development and partnerships for the Direct-to-Consumer group
Oversee day to day client relationship with traditional MVPDs and device platform distribution partners and provide strategic guidance on partner initiatives
Support cross-platform initiatives and gather business requirements across distributors to drive Peacock’s roadmap forward
Develop, track and communicate analysis of partnership performance, and ensure ongoing alignment with deal commitments and Peacock OKRs
Assist in the development of well-organized presentations to senior leadership and clients, explaining complex situations simply and clearly
Build and maintain intelligence on the cable landscape via networking, 3rd party research and earnings/financial reporting
3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, strategy, or digital media distribution in connection with television/film
Outstanding communication and project management skills with proven ability to work collaboratively with Product, Marketing, Legal and Finance teams; effortless ability to translate messages for business, legal and technical audiences
Rich quantitative and analytical skillset; ability to gather and interpret data to develop insights, drive decisions and back-up assumptions/recommendations
Knowledgeable about current/emerging trends in streaming media and the evolution of technology distribution
