The U.S. Consumer Services and Enterprise Digital & Data Technology Team brings together foundational strategic technology capabilities in digital experience engineering (Mobile and Web), AI/ML, marketing technology, enterprise communications, travel and lifestyle, and automation, grounded in our data technology model that prioritizes data governance. It employs a ground-breaking focus with development responsibilities for customer-facing capabilities that deepen and expand digital engagement, as well as core technical capabilities that cut across business lines and customer segments.

The Manager Assistant, Technology will report into the Vice President – Global Web and Mobile Technology, and be a key member of the USCDT chief-of-staff group. This person will play a meaningful role in supporting the Global Web and Mobile team of 300 global colleagues, by contributing to overall technology and business planning, provide strategic planning and influence key decisions by supporting strategy and vision, providing recommendations for areas of improvement, driving culture and innovation, and managing key activities to support the team day to day. In this role, the Manager Assistant will act as an advisor and key consultant to the Vice present and will work with partners across Technology, Product and Business Units.

This role is ideal for someone with the ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously and establish collaborative partnerships across the Technology, Product and Business organizations, and collaborate with key Engineering leaders and other partner teams to drive strategic initiatives and define clear goals and success criteria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic, analytical and decision support on a wide range of complex technology and business issues and initiatives, and will be required to:

  • Lead all aspects of general project management and special projects requiring strategic analysis and data consolidation.

  • Support the Vice President, Technology in preparing communications and materials for high exposure strategic technology reviews/presentations to senior leaders and external audiences.

  • Lead the development and execution of internal communications on behalf of the Vice President for key events, technology updates and other deliverables, including accountability for coordinating Town Halls and Business Unit Reviews.

  • Lead the development and execution of strategies and initiatives to drive Colleague Engagement.

  • Support planning and operations (e.g. annual budget and investment planning, risk and finance reviews, weekly staff meetings).

  • Build strong working relationships across the USCDT org, in addition to key partners, to enhance collaboration, problem solving and generate solutions to deliver results

  • Run business planning and operational processes (e.g., cost center management, and scorecard metrics, risk management report) for the organizationIndependently handle special projects/ activities and day-to-day issues

  • Serve as a central point of contact for multiple organization initiatives.

  • Support headcount and financial management activities.

  • Provide backup administrative support, to include phone coverage, scheduling appointments and Document/presentation creation and maintaining organization charts.

The successful candidate will be proactive, flexible, strategic, highly organized, and eager to take full ownership of their work.

Required skills:

  • The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who is able to provide strategic thought leadership and lead projects with limited mentorship.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and projects simultaneously, with great follow-up and attention to detail, and work well in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

  • Demonstrated outstanding project management and organizational skills applied in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.

  • Experience of consistent track record to drive large and sophisticated initiatives, across multiple-organizations or the technology organization(presentations/memos) for a variety of audiences.

  • Ability to get things done, think strategically and globally.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, work effectively in ambiguous situations, and a willingness to take charge and get results.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Upbeat, curious, self-motivated, proactive, and able to work well under pressure and in an unstructured environment.

  • Demonstrated relationship leadership skills with proven track record to influence without authority.

  • High level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive issues with complete confidentiality.

  • Prior experience in Technology, Product or Portfolio related team is preferred.

  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits
