Description

American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Information Security Managers to provide strategic leadership and subject matter expertise, enhancing growth of information security program. Work with technology and business partners across business functions/processes to ensure alignment, understanding and ongoing communication on information security controls and regulatory/compliance requirements. Support user access control and data analysis activities for monitoring and reporting purposes. Drive engagement with information security vendors to conduct penetration tests, compromise assessments, API security analysis, and information security mobile analysis. Drive integration of code compliant with company policy and standards. Respond to changes in the regulatory environment and assist other organizations in doing the same. Make strategic recommendations to enhance information security, including processes, procedures, governance approaches, and compliance.

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience leading technical teams in the development and implementation of information security standards and technical risk mitigation strategies. Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: translating complex analyses for technical and non-technical audiences; identifying and managing technical risks impacting business and operations and developing contingency plans; working with technical, analytical, business, and non-technical teams; developing and implementing business process improvement strategies; project management experience, driving business transformation, and reengineering strategies; and Agile and Waterfall Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Confluence, DevOPs – Horizon CI/CD, Elastic, Github, Java application development, JIRA, Kafka Topic, MQ, Rally, REACT JS based UI/UX portals, RESTful API Microservices, Selenium, SERVICENOW, Splunk, SQL, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $111,031.00 to $190,000.00 annually
