Job Title: Data Engineer (Onsite)
Roles & Responsibilities:
8 to 12 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python Azure DevOps PySpark SQL Kafka and Spark in Scala. Experience in Asset & Wealth Management or Asset Management Operations is a plus. The candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing data pipelines ensuring data integrity and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Develop and optimize data pipelines using Python PySpark BIG Data Mongo and SQL to ensure efficient data processing.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline deployment processes.
- Utilize Kafka for real-time data streaming and ensure seamless data flow across systems.
- Leverage Spark in Scala to perform large-scale data processing and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and quality by implementing robust data validation and monitoring processes. - Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data pipelines and infrastructure.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process.
- Work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
- Utilize Azure Event Hub Azure Key Vault and Azure Data Lake Store for enhanced data management and security.
- Implement monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor to ensure system reliability and performance. -Qualifications - Possess strong experience in Python PySpark BIG Data Data Engineering Mongo Spark SQL Kafka Azure DevOps AWS and RDBMS
- Demonstrate proficiency in developing and optimizing data pipelines.
- Have experience with Azure Event Hub Azure Key Vault and Azure Data Lake Store.
- Show familiarity with Azure Synapse Spark Pool Azure Synapse SQL Pool and Synapse Pipelines.
- Exhibit knowledge of Azure PowerShell and Azure CLI for infrastructure management.
- Have domain experience in Asset & Wealth Management or Asset Management Operations.
- Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 06/18/2024.
The annual salary for this position is between $82,000.00 - $109,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
