Description We are searching for a Desktop Support Analyst based in New York, New York, United States. This role involves maintaining the functionality of the company's desktop systems and providing support to end-users in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role is within the telecommunications industry and is a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 1 troubleshooting support, resolving hardware and software issues, and escalating to higher-level technicians when necessary.

• Install, administer, test, and maintain hardware and software systems, ensuring optimal functionality.

• Work closely with users, vendors, consultants, and IT staff to discuss and implement IT solutions that meet program requirements.

• Create tickets in the ticketing system and respond to emails from the service desk shared mailbox.

• Prepare and assist with the creation of procedural manuals and online help instructions for users, as well as technical documentation for IT staff.

• Conduct training sessions in hardware and software technologies.

• Support various software tools including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro, and virtual meeting platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx.

• Provide remote technical support through VPN technologies.

• Install, diagnose, and repair network and standalone printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.

• Maintain a detail oriented phone presence while answering the service desk phone. Requirements • Proven experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar IT support role

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and providing support for Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suites

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and Zoom platforms

• Experience with computer hardware, workstation support, and deploying systems

• Strong knowledge in the use of VPN technologies and Microsoft Teams

• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively

• Experience in providing customer support over the phone and deskside

• Proficiency in using ticketing systems and service desk tools

• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation

• Experience in training users and staff on the use of hardware and software

• Familiarity with HR administration tasks

• Ability to coordinate with vendors for procurement and troubleshooting

• Proficient in scanning, printing, and verification tasks
