JobReq41119Job Description:Commerce Relations Manager, Partnerships and Marketing The Commerce Relations Manager, Partnerships and Marketing will be responsible for liaising with the WSJ newsroom, WSJ marketing, Dow Jones Product, and Dow Jones Tech Partnerships, external partners, and legal to support Buy Side from WSJ commerce initiatives and drive revenue growth for the brand. This is a highly collaborative role that will interact closely across multiple Dow Jones business units and requires the ability to be nimble and adaptable to change when priorities shift. Responsibilities

  • Support Commerce Relations department and serve as backup for liaising with newsroom guidelines, and with our commerce partners at Dow Jones.
  • Develop close working relationship with Dow Jones Marketing team for Buy Side content.
  • Work with commerce partners to deliver and shape marketing strategy for Dow Jones audiences. Secure WSJ marketing placements and execute WSJ marketing campaigns for commerce partners.
  • Work with WSJ newsroom to execute on all content programming inclusions. Responsible for the coordination of revenue driving bluelinking and widget placements with commerce partners and newsroom.
  • Oversee testing strategy to optimize the impact of creative and messaging across Dow Jones platforms.
  • Responsible for project management between the Commerce Relations department and our Product team, as required for continued growth of Buy Side
  • Support Commerce Relations department with projects related to the WSJ Tech, such as partnerships team to ensure Buy Side is included in all major content syndication deals.
  • Manage The Journal Collection platform.
  • Support Commerce Relations department with the editing and deployment of weekly newsletters.
  • Support deal negotiations, analyze and grow existing partnerships, and help enter new markets which will drive growth for Dow Jones
  • Assist with day-to-day operations and growth of existing commerce partnership

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the business
  • Ability to be nimble and adaptable to change when priorities shift
  • Excellent project manager able to keep teams to a tight deadline and manage stakeholders at all levels across the business.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage workload effectively in a fast paced environment
  • College degree (or equivalent), preferably in marketing, communications, or a business discipline.
  • 4+ years working experience in media preferred
